Credible Construction Inc. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website (credibleconstruction.us) or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.

1. Information you give us

When you request an estimate through the form on our website, you give us your name, phone number, email address, street address, city and zip code, and, if you choose, the service you need and details about your project.

When you call us, message us on WhatsApp or send us an email, we receive the information you share in that conversation, such as your name, phone number, address, project details and any photos you send.

2. Information collected automatically

Like every website, our hosting provider's servers automatically record basic technical information when a page is loaded: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the date and time, and the website that referred you. These standard server records are used to keep the website secure and running, and to see in general terms how many people visit and which pages are used. They are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

To protect our estimate form from spam, we briefly keep a scrambled (one-way encoded) form of your IP address with the time of each request. It is used only to limit the number of requests from one connection and is discarded after about an hour.

3. Cookies and tracking

Our website does not use cookies, and it does not use advertising, social media tracking or third-party analytics tools. Our fonts, images and scripts are all served from our own website, so loading our pages does not send your information to other companies.

4. How we use your information

• To respond to your request and answer your questions.
• To prepare your written estimate and, if you hire us, to plan and carry out your project.
• To keep business and tax records as required by law.
• To keep our website secure and prevent spam and abuse.

We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed to serve you:

• Service providers that run our website and email, such as our web hosting company and our email provider. They handle your information on our behalf to deliver those services.
• Partners on your project, when needed for your job, such as a general contractor on a larger project or a permit authority.
• When required by law, for example to comply with a court order, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

6. Phone, WhatsApp and email

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, those services are provided by other companies (for example, WhatsApp is operated by Meta). Their own privacy policies apply to how they handle your messages.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, complete your project and keep the records the law requires. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see section 9).

8. How we protect it

Our website uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS), and estimate requests are sent to us by encrypted email. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete your information, unless we must keep it by law (for example, records of work we did).

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days.

10. Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as the New York City license lookup and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
